Edinburgh - Day 3 - Part 2

Another highlight of the walk was this pond where locals brought their dogs for a frolic in the water. Happy pups!!

After lunch we started Rick's "New Town" walk and ventured across Waverly Bridge into...wait for it...New Town!

This is a statue of Dr. Livingston (Dr. Livingston I presume!) - He's holding a guidebook so I had to pose with him.

This is Sir Walter Scott - Another Scottish favorite. He looks a little constipated. They probably didn't have Metamusal back in his day. Poor fella.

Next it was a stop at The Dome, a former bank now fancy pants bar and restaurant. Pretty classy joint, so not sure how our lot got in!

Because drinks beget more drinks, we ventured through Princess Street Gardens...

... back to Old Town for drinks at a watering hole Todd & Rachel found earlier. Lucky us!

We had dinner that night at a nice, modern place a few steps from our flat, Angels and Bagpipes. Too bad we didn't take any pics of the grub because was yummers! We then had a drink at the Ensign Ewart before too many whiskeys at our flat. We were naughty!
